Why families choose King Edward Care Home

The King Edward is a small home, and that means we get to know people properly. Your loved one isnt just another resident we learn what they like, what makes them laugh, their routines and what matters to them. We understand how difficult moving into care can be, so we support families too. Were relaxed, friendly and homely, and residents are encouraged to live life their way. Youll know the staff caring for your loved one, and youll know me. Most importantly, when you leave after a visit, we want you to feel confident they are in safe hands.

A message from the manager

Welcome to The King Edward. Im Gemma, the Registered Manager, and this home and the people in it mean a great deal to me. I know how hard it can be to trust someone else with a person you love, and I never forget the responsibility that comes with that. I want your loved one to feel safe, comfortable, valued and, most importantly, at home. Well get to know the person behind the care needs their stories, little routines, likes and dislikes, and what makes them smile. My door is always open, and youll always be part of our home too. Were a small home with a big heart, and Im very proud of that.
